Shri Jagannath Trust is a charitable trust located in Pune. This trust has a commitment to spread the Jagannath Culture and propagate Lord Jagannath’s glory particularly in Pune and generally in Maharashtra and all over India .The Trust also is involved in many other social activities directed at the well being of the needy people who are in proximity with the members of the Trust.

As a big step towards fulfilling its cherished objectives, The Trust has undertaken the task of constructing Shree Shree Jagannath Temple and Cultural Centre on one acre land(43560 q.ft), at Hill Work, Wadichwadi, Undri.The Trust proposes to construct the Temple and Cultural Centre, which would be one of the landmarks of Pune.Read More...

Puri Jagannath Temple
The celebrated Temple of Lord Jagannath now existent at Puri was constructed by Raja Ananta Varman Chodaganga Dev in 12th century A.D.

The wooden images of Jagannath Balabhadra and Subhadra were installed in that temple.

The management of the temple continued under the Hindu rulers till 1558, when the State of Orissa was conquered by the Afghan Nawab of Bengal and the temple was attacked by the Afgan General ‘Kalapahad’.Read More...
